yes i knw orange isn’t great – bt Gud :)

aaahh….Though was out of town, I still managed to watch Orange the second day…nt my way actually as i generally never miss friday evening show or a late nyt show of a major release. All kinda reviews were out in all kinda mediums…all talks like ‘ok ok’, ‘bad’, ‘un-bearable’ were also out except fr great and gud. i kept my nerves intact….didnt respond to any thing. didnt read reviews…(couldnt control seeing the ratings though) and set out to watch it and probably surprising many, i found it njoyable. n yea, i knw it isnt great, it isnt something tats going to be remembered. bt giv me a break. nt all movies r ought to be bommarillu or aarya. it was gud experiment with many things. Nw lets dwell the depths
Many said the concept isnt clear, isnt right…..first of all the concept isnt something out-rightly new. it has shades of two hit movies. One is ‘Swayam Varam’ of venu in scenes invoving fights of nagababu and his wife, protagonist’s sister and brother in law. Bt the movie stops jst abt saying these as reasons behind protagonit’s acts. Other being movie ‘neevalle neevalle’ when the hero reveals his reason for the short luv ideology he feels is right. U see, similar concepts hav been received well earlier. Bt there’s a diff major here. While in Neevalle Nevalle the hero maintains his stand all along till the movie ends, in Swayam Varam, Venu learns wat a tru luv is in the end, Bt here our hero takes different stand in different parts of the movie. First he feels luvs eternal, then he feels its shortlived and then again he feels its eternal (though he wouldnt say so). Nw this wasn’t something a hero we generally imagine whould be. he should be damn right always…if nt then one and only one mistake in the entire movie length (like Venu in ‘Swayam Varam’). I felt the director experimented by maintaining this hero to be jst another confused lover. n this i feel is a gd thing.
The screenplay of the movie was so fast paced initially and then slowed dwn dramatically without any real stuff til the interval. Also after interval the pace didnt pickup as expected. It was still dragging nt until climax where all of a suddenly hero reveals his past incidents tat changed him, and also changes in time to settle dwn with Genilia who suddenly becomes so strong a girl, so stubborn, nt like the one introduced to us in the movie. Contrarily the hero character who is shwn storng initially, one who wouldnt bend, kinda lion, suddenly turns out to be a cat which would jst yell bt does nthing.

It shld hav been a great movie
1. if the screenplay was right paced for the entire length
2. if the reason for the protagonist’s behaviour was established with stronger incidents and more screentime
3. if it has been soft in major scenes – like establishing characters only to reveal at end tat they arent really as showed earlier.
N y the hel wld a girl luv some one fr his cheeks or his golf or fr tat stupid lion-ant jokes…!!!!!!!

With all this said i still maintain its njoyable movie. Look at the picturisation, feel the music, laugh like a hell fr the comedy, see the styling of hero n herione. Didnt anyone feel Genilia was at her best in few of the outfits….she was damn gud wit her diff hairstyles, dresses, she has shwn hw pretty she can tun out to be. Ofcourse this was nt everytime….some times i jst felt hw come a director shw her so gud one second and so bad the very next moment. Last thing last, i didnt get bored…only felt a bit dragged before interval. And tats ok for me to end a stressfull weekend. So I njoyed it. It was way better than the mass masala formulaic movies coming out regularly with 6 songs, three fights, two main charecters (hero n villein) n one wasted herione.

Just now I have watched the Orange movie. Really concept is good and some times lies needed for to continue the love.

People want new stories but some how don’t like these kind of stories.

Who likes this movie : Married people and lovers .

Its looks like intentionally some people are writing wrong reviews about this movie. This is one of the best movie which has the real life concept and encountered to every human beings life.

If you miss this movie definitely you will not see the relation ship in other angle.

exactly Lakshmana…..some hw i missed tat very point. it isnt something tats very diff. its a truth in many relationships. after some days, months or probably years…people hav to renew their love. they hav to re live those days when they were jst lovers n nt married people, or when they were one side lovers trying to get attention of their luv. this is shown in a scene in the climax where Prabhu puts a luv letter to his wife in a box as he did earlier before marriage, bt i felt this point must hav been highlighted in a better way in the movie.
